•	Records that appear in italics with an asterisk are incomplete due to changes in categories tracked over the years.
•	Statistics that appear in italics only reflect figures for partial seasons. Career statistics for players include the available partials.
•	ERA was calculated on the basis of 7 innings in 1965-1970, 1972-1976, and 1995-1997 and appears in shaded text; when overlapping with other seasons, career statistics are calculated on the basis that applies to the greater number of innings.
•	Several categories are not available for many seasons prior to 1995 (e.g., fielding, games played on offense, sacrifices). Separate categories for sacrifice hits and sacrifice flies have been kept since 1997. Prior to 1997, on-base percentage is estimated using available statistics.
