Versículos en Español
For extra credit on unit exams in Spanish 1010, you can memorize a Bible verse in Spanish. Hints:
| • | Focus on words that you know or recognize rather than on words you don't know. |
| • | If you check a verse against an English translation, keep in mind that you will not find an exact word-for-word correspondence. There are dozens of versions of the Bible, and the language structures are different. |
| • | Write the verse out in big letters and post it in your room. Repeat it to yourself several times a day. |
| • | Don't get discouraged early on... remember, you're just starting out in Spanish, so everything looks unfamiliar! As you go through the semester, more and more will begin to make sense! |

San Juan 1:19-21 (selecciones) "Tú, quién eres?..." "Yo no soy el Cristo." "...Eres tú, Eliás?..." "No soy." "Eres tú el profeta?..." "No."
